Hey, hey, hey, apologies for my lateness in my Month In Numbers post and major apologies to Julie ( the Month in Numbers creator) It was only when I saw her post on March 31st, that I realised I hadn’t done it & panicked, luckily I had made notes of numbers throughout the month anyhoo, a day or so later it was done & now I’m finally blogging it…
So the interesting numbers in my life this month were…
3 – The number of times I went to the wool shop on my lunch break (but I only bought wool once, I also bought a crochet hook & a pattern lol)
27 - The number of cakes I’ve eaten in the office this month – its been a challenging month. I should explain I work on a section with 35 people, 2 of these are obsessive cake bakers, there is never a week in our office where there are not cakes, sweets or treats of some kind. Cakes are brought in for all sorts of reasons – birthdays – we have 35 a year, maternity leave – 4 girls in 4 weeks, or my personal favourite reason – just because its Friday, or Monday, or any day ending in y really :D
5-The age DD turned this month….awww she’s growing up so fast!!!
10 - the total number of knitting & crochet projects that were being worked on by us all when we went to Rachel’s house (there were 5 of us & we worked on 2 each- not planned, it just worked out that way :D)
2 – the number of new sketch books I bought – I can’t help it, I’m addicted.
£40.10 – now this number really got to me this month, this was how much it cost me to fill up my Ford Ka, for 2 days afterwards I was really annoyed & kept reflecting back to the good old days when I could fill my bigger car for £25 - then I realised that was actually 10 years ago & it seems I am older than I feel.
So that was my Month in Numbers, I’m finding making a page a month a great way of using up my number Thickers & quite of few of random journaling cards too, I can see my stash reducing slightly now, I can actually close & fasten the holder for my papers lol
Thanks for stopping by & taking the time to leave lovely comments, its always much appreciated.
Take care & hope to see you soon.

I feel proud to have helped someone find a use for all those numbers! I am also jealous of your impressive cake intake!
Thanks for playing once again this time round. No lateness apologies required! I'll add you in to my existing post ASAP.

great page
I love your month in numbers posts, might have to give it a try this month.
Petrol is just too expensive at the moment, i remember filling my first car up with a tenner, (a mini though)and it lasted me a whole week :)
This is a such a great idea and I love the way you have put it together.
I love your number LOs.
Don't get me started on petrol...I think when I passed my test it was about 55p per GALLON (LOL showing my age now) and how shocked I was that motorway service stations were charging nearly £2 per gallon during the petrol shortage...folk are paying this per LITRE now.
Toni :o)

LOL. My favourite number on your layout - which is fab by the way Claire, is 27!! That is the amount of cake I would have liked to have eaten myself this month! LOL. Any job vacancies going at your place?! *Ü* It's a good thing you are planting veggies in your garden! *Ü* TFS. ~Glen~
Love the page and all the numbers - fab idea...particularily like the number of cakes you eat :D
Great idea to put them all in a LO :). Wish I was in a cake-baking workplace! Ah, the Ford Ka ... I used to have one and loved it. I've stopping filling the car full because I can't bear to see how much it would cost!
Love your number pages, fascinating to see what you highlight and a great way to record your memories :)
